A lifelong Novocastrian, Jack joined the UNLSA Committee in 2023 as First Year Student Representative. Before being elected President, he was the Vice President (Administration) in 2024, and Vice President (Operations) in 2025. In those roles, Jack was responsible for association governance and administration, ensuring compliance with various requirements under legislation and University policy, the coordination of regular meetings, systems management, advice and implementation of the governing documents, as well as a large chunk of time dedicated to overall financial management of the Association as part of the Executive Governance Team. 

As President for the 2026 Committee, Jack is committed to continuing the Association's positive growth, balancing a return to key priorities mixed with new innovations. The 2026 Committee will ensure that we fully serve the interests of Newcastle law students by providing opportunities at all levels, from casual events like the Coffee Carts, right through to the high levels of commitment required for intervarsity competitions.
